2' Chingones — Restaurant in San Rafael

BEST PLACE IN ALL COSTA RICA!!!

Let me start by saying that the level of love and care that went into the establishment is amazing. There's so many details that make this place gorgeous for any date night or outing.

The service was out of this world, I have never been attended in such a well mannered manner in Costa Rica when it comes to dining. The servers were amazing and attentive, even when it was peak hours.

The drinks were great, the sangria was ok and left much to be desired but I highly recommend the tequila sunrise. However their selection is great and many other drinks being served looked very well prepared and had fantastic glassware.

Now let's get into the food, the cheese sticks were a great appetizer, the breading was great and the consistency of a cheese pull is one out of a commercial. The size of the portions are very generous considering you pay the same at other places with only half the size. The chicken quesadilla fajita style, the asada chimichanga and asada burrito were all out of this world. The flavor was so good, the meat was perfectly cooked. The detail of how they even prep the food. Most places will put veggies inside a chimichanga inside and then fry the food, which affects the consistency of the vegetables. But they actually put the chimichanga on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes to keep what is hot, and cold separated.

I cannot explain how great it was. This restaurant is sincerely an experience I recommend anyone to try. Sincerely the best food I have had in Costa Rica, the best service, the best drinks and the biggest bang for your buck. I truly don't think anyone should go anywhere but here.

Long wait for a table of 5 took about 30 minutes to be seated. Then another 20mins to take our order. The meals are little over priced for the terrible service received.
