Driving from Poás Volcano on the way to La Fortuna on our first visit to Costa Rica, we came across this delightful soda by the side of the road. Incredible view, lovely staff and very tasty food. We barely speak a word of Spanish and they couldn't speak much English - but we understood the menu and ordered a very tasty sandwich, with chips and a delicious fresh juice. Had to go back an look at my photo GPS to find out where this was, and wanted to go back and write a review (er, actually a year later!). Worth a stop... especially for the view.

What a perfect place! Me and my boyfriend loved it there. Super friendly staff, an amazing view (you can watch hummingbirds and butterflies from the terrace), tasty sandwiches, amazing smoothies and coffee and prices are more than affordable. Great stop on the way to Poas Volcano. I highly recommend this cafe/restaurant.

Excellent food and service. Food is made fresh and every item was soooo tasty. Menu is in Spanish and the owner doesn't speak English. We don't speak Spanish but we still manage to communicate what we wanted and enjoyed the food. Rice and beans are so tasty

We were leaving La Paz and drove past this soda. I am so glad we stopped! This was probably one of the best typical meals we had our whole stay. If you are in the area and need a great place to eat with a great view stop here. We paid 6,000 colonies for one meal that was big enough to feed both my wife and I. Might have paid too much, but we were more than...

A fantastic little roadside eatery! We passed it a couple of times and noticed the cars, so picked it on our trip back from Poas. My partner had an ample empanada and I had the best Arroz Con Pollo I had in Costa Rica. Definitely glad we stopped here. Arrived late back in the states, was forced to eat at a Denny’s and immediately craved this...
