😍 AMAZING! 😍 The campgrounds: They are very well kept up. They are clean, beautiful and peaceful. You can camp near the river with the sound of the waterfall or higher up on the hill. There are various places on site to sit, walk around the pond, tables, plenty of firewood, a swing set and hammocks. The campgrounds have a lot of walking areas to explore and a huge hill to sit on top of to watch sunsets. There is even a soccer field! ⚽️ If you're looking for a nice place to camp near Monteverde, GO HERE. JUST DO IT! Turin is 15min outside downtown Monteverde and anywhere from 20-30 min to various preserves and waterfall hikes. My husband and I absolutely love this place. Additionally, there are clean restrooms and showers on site as well as a place to wash dishes. 🚿🚽🧽🍽 The owners also offer laundry service and are all around very accommodating to whatever you might need. 🧦🧺👕👖
The restaurant: Super convenient with a nice array of choices on the menu. Food is delicious 😋 The restaurant area itself is very cool and CLEAN. I see the owners cleaning it every single morning and throughout the day. 👌🏼🧼🧹 There are lots of seating and hangout areas surrounded by nature. 🍃 TV to watch games if you want and nice background music is always playing. Also, free Wi-Fi and places to plug in electronics for charging or working remotely🔌📶📱
My husband and I came here first for our honeymoon and 2 weeks later we returned for another 5 days. The location is spectacular with outstanding starry skies, beautiful sunsets, and magical day and night rainbows. 🌈 🌙 🌞 💧🌌 YES, NIGHT RAINBOWS! 🤩
If you're unsure where to camp, just go here. 🏕 You won't regret it. There are TONS of spaces for all types of camping styles (i.e. trailer, car tents, ground tents, etc) The owners are super kind and will ensure your stay is comfortable! 🤗 You can also follow them on Instagram...
Read moreThis was one of our favorite stops in Costa Rica. We camped here and ate dinner. This place is gorgeous and the food was yummy. Our kids loved having a swing set to play on and we all loved exploring their gorgeous gardens. We heard howler monkeys in the morning and were able to take a hot shower! All wins in our book. Our host was probably the nicest person we met while visiting Costa Rica. We really loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone passing through this area.
update Our original review was from November 2019. We were able to come back to this beautiful spot and loved it just as much as the first time! The family who runs this restaurant is so incredibly nice an inviting. We showered, ate, and slept here and were sad we couldn't stay longer. Thanks for...
Read moreMy husband camped for one night here and loved it so much that he brought me back a couple days later for another overnight stay and it was amazing! We ate in the restaurant and it was hands down my favourite meal of the trip. I love fish and they had a whole Tilapia on the menu which came from their pond which you dine right beside. I highly recommend the whole fish as it’s from the pond, my understanding is that the filet is not and you’ll see that on the menu, the hosts (Stefanie in particular) are so so lovely too and the prices are more than reasonable. The atmosphere was relaxed and they really make you feel at home here. Both the food and campsite were amazing -- we...
