Wow! A great hole-in-the-wall find. Our party of 10 (ages 40+ to 10 years old) walked right in a little after lunchtime and had a great experience from start to finish. The meal selection was great for adults and kids (very good typical kids menu including burgers and chicken strips) and was very fast. Fresh seafood options and great veggies added to a great meal overall. The staff was very accommodating, helpful and friendly and made the experience make us feel welcomed while enjoying the Costa Rican culture. Went to this restaurant tonight and was not disappointed! The food and service were excellent! Absolutely no complaints. We had arroz con pollo, chicken and steak tacos, and chicken strips for little man. All were very tasty and filling. We appreciate the staff being so accommodating with our lack of Spanish language skills. The Uno card game they gave us to play while waiting for our food was awesome as well. Had a fantastic dining experience at La Fogata Bar and Grill in Costa Rica! ordered the local plate steak and a burger, both of which were absolutely delicious—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
