From the moment we walked in, our experience at Batak Grill was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of by Lucia, our waitress, who truly made the evening unforgettable. Her honesty and unique way to deal with customers made it even more special.

The food was nothing short of amazing. Every single dish we tried was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. From starters to dessert, the quality and freshness were consistent, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into every plate.

It’s rare to find a place that combines such delicious food with top-notch service, but Batak Grill delivers both effortlessly. Lucia’s kindness and professionalism turned a great meal into a memorable dining experience. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this gem to everyone...

I have always liked Batak and often visit their location in Pula, so it felt right to stop by while in Zagreb. What I appreciate most is the consistency. You can always count on quality, solid execution, and a professional staff that knows what they are doing.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, modern but still cozy. I usually go for the cevapcici with kajmak, which are good, though they could use a bit more depth. The mazalice are phenomenal, juicy and full of flavor. Their potatoes are excellent across the board, from sweet potato fries to regular fries, and especially the loaded ones with cheese and bacon. The lepinja is also available, and it rounds out the meal perfectly.

Service was good (I have been to some other Batak restaurants and waiters were rude, so I didn't go in a long time, hopefully this is not just the case in this one, but they worked on customer appreciation and relation). Food arrived in timely manner, was warm and well arranged. However my plate (grilled chicken, boneless leg and thigh) was rather flavorless. I expected more, considering the type of grill place they are. Out of 6 of us, no one said their food was tasty (no did they say that it wasn't, but Croatians usually talk about that stuff). Ambiance was really nice, people with kids where there as well, nice, large parking and fantastic bathrooms. Very nicely...
