R & B Food — Restaurant in City of Zagreb

WE LOVED IT! As we are regular family users of skme known burgers and pizza in the city, I was looking to make a change... and was trying to find a rib place for a long time. Searching through reviews, this one pops up pretty regularly, so we decided to give it a chance. And we got the winning ticket :) As now is still corona time, you can eather order for delivery or come and get it yourslef. We leave just outside the city with no possibilities to order, so we came to a place and ask if can order to go. Guy was very warm and helpfull, offers us a menu, helps with choosing... and said to come back in 25 min. It was a lovely day so we walked around and it really was finished and ready when we came back for it. And a price is normal, too. OMG, the beat ribs ever. They are melting in your mouth, just enough sauce (we took one normal and one mild, normal is great for children, mild is just what you need!) Perfect meet, perfext menu. But ONION RINGS, too! I was surprised, as I order them a lot when possible, every Hard Rock Caffee is tried and they are always pretty much oily for mee.. but not his one. The best onion rings I ate. Good reviews brought us here. Being from a meat eating country we know our ribs. Nice cosy atmosphere with quite friendly waiter. My sister and I ordered spicy baby back ribs and my husband the veal ribs. The food came to the table around 15 mins after we ordered and so began the unpleasantness. The chips and onion rings were hot but the meat was COLD. We asked the waiter to send it back to the kitchen to reheat; he brought it back 5 mins later telling us it was warm but it was STILL cold! My husband called the manager Ivo who came to speak to us. He was rude and unapologetic. The first thing he said was "This isn't the food for you!!" and then proceeded to tell us that the temperature of the food was the way it was always served! Very disappointing and especially horrified by the lack of customer care. Your food is beautifully flavoured but please don't try to undermine your guests ability to know what temperature food should be served! Your Manager Ivo needs to learn customer service because...

I just had a foodgasm. Babyback ribs are out of this freaking world. I don't freaking remember tasting anything this heavenly. It's just on another level. Friendy I was with thoroughly enjoyed Tuna with Sesame seeds and chicken wings. So the food deserves 5+ stars. Ambiance is another thing that's great. The place is on a small side and you do feel a bit crowded, but everything is decorated in taste. They have small but fine selection of Beer, and also small but really good selection of vines. All in all, I highly recommend this place coz it really does have the best ribs in Zagreb.
