We are your frequent guests who love everything about you and we recommend you to everyone - however we must be honest and say we didn’t like yesterday 2 things - firstly, when the waiter recommends house special dish (without mentioning the price) and when the guest asks where can price be checked in the menu, the waiter cannot reply “there is no price in menu as it is a special dish” , he should inform the guest about the price so the guest is aware what is he paying. Secondly, when the waiter offers the water in the bottle and when the guest says no, he doesn’t need to offer the same thing 5 times during the dinner as it is obvious then that he just wants incremental sale and not respecting guest’s decision - e.g. there are few excellent restaurants with the same quality offering guests tap water showing their will about guest feeling like at home and being comfortable if they want to drink tap water and not feeling guilty for not ordering the water in the bottle. We would never order water in the bottle as we have decent tap water in Croatia and this doesn’t mean we will spend less on other things because of that - we spent yesterday 180e, it is not about spending 170e or 200e, it is about experience and respecting our decision. Despite this experience, we will come again - this was just an honest feedback as it is a critic with good intentions. Just be mindful of those things and you will...

The menu at Izakaya is a delightful fusion of Japanese cuisine, offering a unique and exciting dining experience. The variety of dishes available is impressive, catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Each dish is beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and commitment to quality.
The service at Izakaya was impeccable. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect.
The ambiance of the restaurant is another aspect that sets Izakaya apart. The dim lighting and tasteful decor create a relaxed and intimate atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends. The background music added to the overall ambiance, creating a soothing and enjoyable dining experience.
Overall, our experience at Izakaya was exceptional. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and inviting ambiance made for a memorable dining experience. Read moreIzakaya is a very nice place to be. The food is very tadty, made with care and love. It is obvious that this is primarily a sushi/japanese style restaurant, but I need to say that deserts are also ver very tasty. It is somewhat cool that the receptionist wears a type of, well it is not kimono but a robe that invokes Japan and its culture. I need to point out one thing, one weeked we called the reataurant, but they were full. But what happened afterwards put back a smile on my face. Maybe 5 min later obviously they got a free table and called us back saying that they have a free spot. And that has never happened to me before, so a big big plus for you Izakaya. Having said all that, I would kindly like to point out that when we were there, we were siting close to the sliding doors that are at the northern most side of the restaurant. And since it was winter, I could really feel tha cool air getting in. So please dear owners, find a way to mitigate that, either with heaters placed there, or sealing these doors better, because this style - type of restaurant should have this solved in a more satisfactory way for the people sitting there. Overall thank you Izakaya,...
