Restaurant Panorama — Restaurant in Grad Krk

When turning on the main road from our appartement, we could go left to "Bistro TOP" or we could go right to "Panorama". Today, we went right. Not the best choice of the day: The only panorama we were greeted with was that of a corrugated iron sheet covered "hall" that clearly aimed at hosting as many people as possible. The service was quick and very friendly. The food came about 5-6 minutes (!) after we ordered. So guess it is safe to assume that it was standing on the réchaud for a while already. An exactly that was the taste: dry lamb meat, squid that tasted like anything but a BBQ and some ready made sauce from a jar. Meat was lukewarm at best and I really feel sorry for the lamb dying for this. Even the pizza bread was minimum 1 day old and dry as desert sand. And speaking of desert: Those of you who speak German, at least you have 1 laugh at this place when looking for desert-wine which they translated quite literally to German. Haha. Surprisingly good food! “American” portions (huge), while still being tasteful. I ordered lots of side dishes for myself and had to doggy bag them at the end since the plates were so big! Haha The restaurant was full, it seams like many people come here regularly and probably most of them order their lamb and other meat dishes...

Our waitress was the best! I have to endorse her! Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name but she was nice, very young with brown hair and glasses. She truly cared for everyone... I haven’t seen such a good service here in Croatia in a while and I usually dine in fine restaurants!

There could be improvement in offering something plant based for vegan guests. Maybe...

Lecker Essen im Panorama, besonders der Fisch Teller ist der Hammer. Aber auch sonst war immer alles Top hier. Sehr nette Bedienung, die Mädels sind super nett und total auf Zack. Bin immer wieder gerne hier.

Update 20.09.20 Zum Saisonende nochmals einen Spanferkel verhaftet. Wie immer alles bestens, TOP Futter, nette und schnelle Bedienung. Bin immer wieder gerne hier.

Update 05.07.21 Immer noch alles bestens hier. Bedienung absolut Top 👍 Essen wie gewohnt in guter Qualität. Kann mich absolut nicht beschweren, total zufrieden und immer wieder gerne hier. Preise übrigens wie letztes Jahr, keine Touristen Abzocke.

Update 09.2022 Essen immer noch gut, Bedienung katastrophal. War mehrfach hier, Beilage falsch gelieferte oder gleich das Ganze Gericht falsch ( Anstatt Fischplatte wurde das teurere Filet geliefert. Oder ich habe Pommes dazu bestellt was einfach ignoriert wurde ). Die nette rothaarige Bedienung hat das noch mit Schnaps und kostenlosen Bier ausgleichen können. Die Bedienung heute hat nichts auf die Kette bekommen, Beilage falsch, zweites bestelltes Bier nicht bekomme, keinen Schnaps zur Rechnung... bin ich so nicht gewohnt daher erheblich Punktabzug. Vielleicht können sie das nächstes Jahr wieder gutmachen, diese auf jeden Fall nicht mehr.
