Great like the first one I tried in Pula. Funny enough, directly next to another ice scream spot which sells ice cream for considerably cheaper. This time, tried the Mango (Vegan) and it did not disappoint. All they ice cream is homemade, place is minimalistic (metal, stylish buckets) versus containers overflowing with gelato like most places. Definitely unexpected. Would recommend trying. Wat een feestje is het om aRoma Gelato in Rovinj te ontdekken! Dit is écht het allerlekkerste gelato-ijs dat je kunt krijgen – de enige echte! Je herkent de zaak meteen aan de deksels op het ijs. Dat is hét teken dat je hier te maken hebt met ambachtelijk, écht gelato, en niet met die enorme bergen ijs die je bij toeristische ijssalons ziet liggen (die smelten namelijk nooit, dus dat kan niet helemaal puur natuur zijn 😉).

De smaken zijn super romig en puur, want aRoma maakt alles met 100% natuurlijke ingrediënten, zonder kunstmatige toevoegingen. Zelfs de sorbets zijn gemaakt van vers fruit en kruiden – je proeft gewoon het verschil! Alles is bovendien glutenvrij, en ze hebben zelfs glutenvrije hoorntjes voor wie dat wil.

Wat aRoma extra leuk maakt: ze hebben meerdere vestigingen door heel Kroatië! Dus elke keer als we op vakantie weer een aRoma tegenkomen, halen we gegarandeerd een ijsje. Het is echt een traktatie waar je voor omrijdt. Of je nu in Rovinj, Dubrovnik, Split of een andere mooie plek bent, de kwaliteit is overal top.

De sfeer in de winkel is vrolijk, het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en de keuze aan smaken is enorm. Onze favorieten? Pistache, tiramisu en mango sorbet – maar eigenlijk is alles heerlijk. Echt een aanrader, wij komen zeker terug! 🌞🍧
