Good food but terrible service which destroys whole experience, let alone idea of someone lighting up next to your table with all the food tasting of cigarette buds. At 1st instance, there have been a free table, but because there were 2 of use they said its not available (despite us waiting for it). So I thought I gave them the benefit of the doubt. We went again, grabbed table for 2, and food was great, but service was terrible, waiters smoke in the restaurant, then they bring you food. The only good thing is free wifi, which reaches to the beach, which is amazing. You can get the feeling of all money, money, and money at every step in Croatia. It's so obvious it destroys the experience, same as cigarettes, smoke. It's hard to find a place without ashtrays, and if you do, there is someone smoking jutst outside, and you still get the smell. Beautiful country...

Best food in Croatia so far! We are so glad we came back to the Pod Maslovo beach after two days. We spent a whole day there two days prior and tried to make a reservation for dinner that night but our party of 9 couldn’t be accommodated as the restaurant was full. We came back to the beach yesterday and made a reservation for an early dinner. The food was very good. The octopus salad was the best I’ve ever had. My wife’s catch of the day was cooked to perfection. Mussels were fresh and very tasty. We also loved the crepes that our kids ordered. They couldn’t finish them so we had a small dessert eating their leftovers ;). Not a typical beachfront moneygrab restaurant. The whole experience of the beach, which is not crowded at all, and the restaurant make for a perfect day on the beach...

What a beautiful restaurant! Right next to the beach, some delicious food and amazing service. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, lovely! We have stayed nearby for 10 days and eaten here most days, we tried so much off the menu and were always impressed. Great value for money right on the beach, even if we were just sunbathing we would always be getting drinks and always surprised at how cheap it is here.
