Beach Bar Little Star — Restaurant in Općina Konavle

Great location.

We went for a drink but since they only accept cash, we had to go away.

We came back the next day and I was really looking forward to a Long island iced tea. The barmen didn't know what it was and told me I could only have what was on the list. I didn't want to start explaining how to mix one so ordered something else for 13 Euros. I took a seat and was shouted over to collect my drink when it was ready.

It's an amazing location and a lovely place to sit but seems to be built around them and not their customers, which is a pity because it could so easily be fabulous.

bartender shamelessly charged full price (12€) for a campari spritz without the prosecco, and almost ostentatiously showed that he was pouring only 1.5 oz of campari into the glass from a 2 oz vessel. there is a constant regular / owner who makes crude jokes about women.

don't come here as a woman unless you are participating in the "I am defended by a man" scheme

and don't expect anything to be remotely worth what is charged.

We've been coming here since we discovered Cavtat in 2010, but we know it as Vince's Bar because that's what someone told us it was called. We found out a few years later that the real name was actually something like Vicci's Bar, but I don't really like the new Little Star bit.
