They offer local wines, traditional fruit schnapps, and natural juices made from their own produce – you won’t find that everywhere. I tried the elderflower juice and a small glass of fig rakija – both absolutely fantastic and full of authentic flavor.

The service was warm and personal. The staff took time to explain the menu and make recommendations. The outdoor seating has a casual, coastal charm with views of the sea and mountain air in the background.

We visited the place twice during our stay in Starigrad. Our favourites are mussels and prawns. Mussels are served with buns and a glass of wine. The portions served are large and delicious. Potato talars are fresh and not oily. Fried squids and tuna steak are nice too. They also have a selection of tasty juice (apple, beetroot apple). You can also get a bottle of rakija in different flavours. The staff in the evening is super nice and friendly. It’s possible to pay by card. Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed as we came after reading all the good reviews. We really wanted to try the special fries but after waiting extremely long for our food, we received normal French fries which weren’t even shown on the menu.
