🤍 A heartfelt thank you for an unforgettable birthday experience🤍

I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the truly unforgettable and beautiful experience I had on my birthday — a surprise planned by my husband and brought to life by the exceptional team at this outstanding restaurant.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the waitstaff, the chef, and everyone behind the scenes who made this evening so incredibly special. Everything — from the impeccable service and warm communication to the stunningly plated, delicious dishes — was absolutely flawless.

Each course was a symphony of flavors and colors, seasoned to perfection, and presented with such artistry that every bite felt like tasting a piece of heaven. I have never in my life experienced such a rich, diverse, and emotionally moving tasting menu.

As an unforgettable touch, the chef personally prepared a beautiful and absolutely divine birthday cake for me. At the end of the evening, the entire team, including the head chef, came out to bid us farewell — a moment that felt like the perfect cherry on top of an already magical evening.

THANK YOU! My husband and I will most certainly return. This was not only the most memorable surprise I’ve ever received, but also a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience that I will carry in my heart forever. It was truly perfect in...

Jenny. In Michelin Guid but not a star. I do think I know why. We did enjoy amazing food celebrating local wine and produce. Paired with the great wines. It was definitely a celebration and a true enjoyment. Besides the starter which appeared bit dry and not welcoming the rest of the dishes was a symphony. Compliments for the team in the kitchen! So why not stars? We did not feel the service level you do get at Michelins.. the evening was ran by one serving “boss” not giving space and delegating to his other colleague. It was a machine work. The same smile at each table, the same story at each table. You serve but you don’t genuinely welcome guests. We don’t come to eat we come to dine and have a great evening. I would suggest the team being team and have dedicated tables per sever. That way it gets personal and evening his a journey you take together. Next to that. The ambiance it’s too sterile. And while we were dining wasps where everywhere. If you know you do have this challenge: deal with it.. for the rest: I definitely would recommend this amazing restaurant to everyone. And good luck. Hope our feedback does help to grow and...

We had an amazing experience at Jeny's on a beautiful Saturday July night in Tucepi. We were driving down from Split to Dubrovnik and had decided to stay a few days in Makarska when I stumbled on Jeny on the Michelin guide site. I had initially booked for the Friday but had totally got it wrong by the time we got to Makarska - for some reason, I had it on our minds (and plans) that it was on Saturday! I apologised to Vlado (and his wonderful team) and asked (very hopefully) if he could accommodate us on the Saturday. He promptly (and kindly ) replied with a "yes" and we were so fortunate to be able to experience the sublime cooking, the matched wines (definitely do it if you can!) and the very mindful, professional service by the team. Vlado came out and explained each course which was very much appreciated by all of us. It was definitely in our Top 30 places to dine from across the world by the end of night! Bravo and thanks again...

We have had a Dinner at Jeny. First of it was a pleasure talking through the reservation process and setting up our arrival at the place. When we arrived we were greeted at the door and seated on the terrace. The view is stunning. It can get a little windy though. The food is great and the wine pairing consisting out of local wines good. I would have liked a little more information about why the wine was chosen to go with a dish and the winemaker. The food is presented very nicely. I felt like sometimes something in the tastes was missing, but it is very good overall. The service is very friendly and good. Also we felt that warming up the plates would have been good for the savory dishes as the sauces arrived partially cold. It is an absolute recommendation

Absolutely terrific Dalmatian food at this cozy restaurant in the village of Tucepi, a couple of km away from Makarska. It's family run, with the maitre d and head chef sharing ancestry. There's a tasting menu on offer and that's it, so get ready for the ride. The food is playful and flavorful. Best dishes were the lamb with aubergine puree and ratatouille praline (just a teaspoon size but packed with flavor), and the truffled veal with terrine. The forest fruits (sumsko voce) dessert was also terrific. One of the openers, a smoky scallop with eel, comes with a dramatic cloche and dissipation of a delicious scent. One of the best meals I've ever had in Croatia, in the top 10.
