Finca del Mar — Restaurant in Cienfuegos

Avoid absolutely, this place is a scam !! We were a large group of 19 people and went for dinner there. On a large trip around Cuba we went to many restaurants but here the bill was twice as much as anywhere else for no reason. When looking at the bill we realized that the specials the waiter sold us without telling us the price were 4 times the price as regular starters. Then they insisted that we were at fault by not asking the price and tried to fight and called the police - which after one hour gave us reason. We dined here March 22nd 2019 as part of a guided tour from a cruise ship. All expenses and tips were paid for by the cruise company, so I have no knowledge of prices. Fantastic place!! I have been to this restaurant every time I go to Cuba ( every year) and I can’t say enough about the food, the service and the attention received. They know by heart what I love: shrimp cocktail. And what a view! The sunsets at Finca Del Mar are astonishing! Can’t wait to go there...
