We visited the newly renamed Grandpa’s nest in September, the whole restaurant has been revamped decor and menu. We had the meze which had been modernized in a delightful way, all dishes were delicious. The service was excellent- family style. If you have visited this taverna a few years ago and were less than impressed I implore you to give it a second chance. It is under new management, it has an updated menu and it really is lovely. Tip - you don’t have to have meze there is a menu and you can choose what you want - there is fish and steak on the menu - but we went soon after it had reopened and they were not...

This was a great experience! You will find a traditional family restaurant with everything to make you feel good: local food, kindness, greek music - all made with the heart! The place is beautiful, well decorated and at the heart of the village. We were looking for a typical place and we found much more. Here, no big menus but the mezze tasting option is gold: tzatziki, tahini, village salad, souvlaki, vegetables etc - best grec homemade geek yogurt that I have tasted in my life! This taverna is the real deal! First off, the meze – pure meat heaven. We're talking juicy kebabs, perfectly spiced sausages, and some of the best grilled chops I've ever had.

And the vibe? Super chill and friendly. It felt like popping over to a mate's place rather than a restaurant. The staff were all smiles and banter, making sure everyone was having a great time.

Plus, the live music added this cool, laid-back energy to the whole place.

Seriously, if you're looking for a spot to kick back, enjoy some top-notch meaty meze, and soak in some good tunes, this taverna is where it's at. Definitely worth...
