Mezedofolia Tavern — Restaurant in Agios Theodoros Larn

I don't really get why it's rated so highly. We went here with my wife while our stay in Ajos Teodoros. Waiters seemed to care more about talking with their family or friends who dine there than to take our order. First waiter forgot to bring a beer which I ordered (fortunately it was not billed). Even though in the menu there's information that every dish comes with fries and salad, ours came without them. Finally when I wanted to pay, I said that I wanted to pay by card and we've waited over ten minutes for the waiter until I gave up and went to the register, where I still had to wait for the waiter.

Food was medicore, lamb chops which are listed at 480g were 250g tops. Easily the worst restaurant experience within our two...

We come to this tavern regularly for a traditional Cypriot meze — it’s our favorite spot on the island.

The meat is always cooked to perfection, and the endless stream of small plates is something we never get tired of. My personal favorites? The beef liver and the eggs with zucchini. I honestly can’t stop eating them — and in most meze meals, you never see these dishes, but here they do them so well.

It’s the perfect place to come with a big group, order a full meze spread, enjoy some delicious local wine, and take in the beautiful views.

Service is warm and welcoming, and everything just feels relaxed and genuine. Highly recommend making the trip — come hungry, and don’t make any dinner...
