Kampanarko Tavern — Restaurant in Deryneia

I’ve just moved to Deryneia and have walked past this restaurant numerous times. Tonight, as I had a reason to celebrate, I decided to eat here. When I entered it was quite busy with a really good vibe - lots of people obviously having a nice time.

I was on my own and directed to sit at a table set for two. I sat there, and sat there, and sat there!

Three parties came in, were seated, offered menus and drinks. I just sat there…

After 20 minutes of being completely ignored I got up and went to the bar. I told the person there what had happened, they seemed apologetic but I left.

Should really have reviewed this place before. What can I say, it's superb. The owners Makis and Georgina have become friends over the years we have been going.
