Alonia Tavern Livadia — Restaurant in Livadia

I've lived in Livadia almost my whole life and never visited this tavern before. I'm beyond impressed. It is one of the few food spots I've tried that i genuinely can't think of any negatives. We went on a Thursday night so it was pretty quiet which I love, atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, place outside where we sat was beautiful. The young boy that served us was super nice, attentive, making jokes. The other staff member we met was super friendly too. Food variation was incredible-so many more options then other taverns offer-you get to try a bit of everything and all the food tasted fresh. Meze is 24€ . I’ve lived in Larnaka all my life and visited many taverns here, but for some reason, I never knew about Alonia in Livadia. We went there for the first time yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. The food was lovely, the atmosphere cozy and truly traditional, and the owners and staff were very friendly. We ordered the food meze — the quantity was generous, with some dishes left over. Almost every dish was excellent, and many had a unique twist you don’t usually find in most taverns in Larnaka. It was also so lovely how they treated Celine, our Toy Poodle — they brought her water and even a seat just for her.
