The experience was disappointing. The atmosphere felt dull with no music, making the restaurant uninviting. There was only one waitress handling everything on her own—she was incredibly kind and did her best, but it was clear she was overwhelmed, and we felt bad for her. The food took an unreasonably long time to arrive, and when it finally did, the quality had noticeably declined; dishes that were once flavorful and well-prepared now felt bland and uninspired. It was evident that something had changed in the kitchen, whether it was different ingredients, a new chef, or cost-cutting measures. I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews and the feedback from others who have ordered here. Unfortunately my experience wasn't as good. It arrived 55 minutes late, cold, there were items missing off the order and I was only able to get the missing drinks deducted from the price. Salt and pepper chicken was rubbery and didn't taste like salt and pepper chicken but more like rubber nuggets. Salt and pepper chips were just rock hard fries. The Singapore Vermacelli was not spicy and had no meat just veg and noodles. The Hot and sour soup was watery, bland and didn't taste like an Hot and sour soup. Very disappointed on our visit last night, after giving our order to the waitress we had to wait 40mins just to get our drinks then another 35mins before some starters came out. Then some main dishes started to come out to the table, I ordered the duck in Beijing sauce with egg fried rice. The duck came out but no rice and eventually when it did come to the table my duck had gone luke warm. I could keep on and on about the rest of the table still not getting their starters or side dishes coming out long before their mains.
