Kamasias — Restaurant in Paralimni

Went for a meal with friends. Due to its popularity we booked for 7-00pm. Arrived and were shown to our table and noticed it was going to be a busy Saturday night due to music set up, balloons and general party layout of the tables, I think the smallest was for 4 people, ours was 8. Due to a large booking arriving we had a short wait but got our drinks to go on with then ordered food. Due to a huge table having a Meze next to us it was a while before our food arrived, all exactly as ordered and we tucked in. The restaurant was near full just after 8 and it was getting very friendly with the neighbouring tables, but not a big problem as the staff were so good at what they did. The atmosphere is good and when the music started at 9 it was typical Cypriot. All in all a great place to eat. If you book earlier it’s quieter but does fill up around 8-00pm. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever experienced starting from the service to the food. This is meant to be a Cypriot Tavern and we ordered a meze which we got charged 32 euro for a meze that not even one person can feed, firstly a true cypriot meze serves ongoing dishes , but these people brings us a board with 3 different meat on it cold with veggies and chips that were stale and the meat were overcooked and I'll say about the veggies on a Cypriot meze!!! Which mind you got no place to be served with a cypriot Meze! Where is the Salad that we needed to add extra for 9 euro and 3 euro the dip . They also tell us that we have until 9pm to eat and they kept coming rudely to the table to hurry us up to eat by 8:30 the food came at 7:40 ! The experience was disappointing and a disgrace for people who pay to come to enjoy a meal worth paying for! Worst restaurant ever(AVOUD AT ALL COSTS). The food is good but a bit warmish. you could barely find any meat on the souvlaki only fat and we even had to remind them a few times to bring our actual food .. When they brought us our chicken souvlaki (which came on metal skewers)THE SKEWERS WERE BURNING HOT .The waiter didn't warn us. In result i ended up burning my hand...when we finished eating we asked them to bring a bottle of water which they ALSO FORGOT and we had to remind them 5 times!The food was kind of good not the best..But please next time caution your guests if something is hot because it could result I'm something way worse..Let's not talk about the staff they are super slow and very forgetful.Overall it's a great restaurant with good food but it could definitely be...
