Very good food, reasonable prices, very friendly staff! Theos Cafe is in the vicinity of the castle, there is a lot of parking places. Even though the first impression from the parking lot is not quite promising, do not hesitate to go in. There is a lovely terrace, with nice surrounding of the trees and the view of a castle. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. The food was amazing, seftalies out of this world-the best we ever tasted, served with salad and really good baked potatoes (not like you get it in the most places, with fries). Chef came to us and asked how was the food and explained that they prepare always everything fresh. Such a nice guy! They have a very good cypress coffee. The prices are good. We paid for two main courses, two glasses of wine, one mineral water and two cypress coffees 35€. It is also good for families with children, lots of place to run around and there is also a...
Read moreAgain, we have visited our favourite place to eat in Cyprus. This time it's for "Souvla Sunday" The cafe is situated just in front of Kolossi Castle. We were warmly greeted by the hosts Loukas and Andrea. Souvla Sunday is a set menu serving 4 courses. A Greek Salad to start, followed by Halloumi and Lounza Ham. Then you get the main course of either chicken or pork souvla with fried potatoes. Desert is apple pie and ice cream. You get all this for €20 per head. Loukas cooks with a passion and it shows in his food. I recently tasted the best Moussaka I have ever had here at Theo's. The atmosphere is amazing and the hosts are warm and friendly. I would have posted some photos of the souvla sunday, but it was too delicious. Instead I will post a photo of the moussaka. We will keep coming to this hidden gem of a restaurant and would thoroughly recommend to all. Nick...
Read moreAlmost drove past café as entry looks a little run down, however so glad we visited on Tuesday 9/04/24. Venue is located just in front of Kolossi Castle & don't be fooled by exterior. Received a lovely warm welcome, food was excellent, as was service. Had Tahini (sesame, garlic & coriander dip), then Sheftalia (homemade sausages) served with wonderful Greek salad & crustry bread. Was given a slice of Dougissa (homemade cake made with rose water) & a glass of Greek liqueur. Family run business who took time to chat with us. Plenty of parking at front of venue. Check out pretty garden to left of venue with play area for young children. Reasonable costs,...
