You would never come inside if you don't know there is a restaurant or you are very very hungry. We get there by accident when we were coming back from holidays. We were very hungry and we were disappointed when we saw what we saw. But we decided to come in to this awful looking old closed pub. When we came in we saw nice restaurant full of people and reservations. Hopefully the owner let us have dinner if we can eat in less than 1.5 hour. Travelers, skip Mikulov and come here for lunch instead! Seriously, we stumbled upon this place by chance, and the high reviews on TripAdvisor definitely helped. The excellent ratings are fully justified. The Czech food is absolutely delicious!

Don't be misled by the uninviting entrance and the basement interior; the kitchen is top-notch. We had the garlic soup and goulash with dumplings – an absolute must-have! Other dishes we tried were also fantastic.

A bit difficult to find but worth the effort. Very friendly staff, willing to satisfy all our needs. Food was very good, with adequate prices. Nice playground corner for children that entertained our kids right away and kept them busy for the whole visit.
