The space in this restaurant is very open and comfortable, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. While the lighting may not be very bright, there is a garden outside which would make for a great spot to sit during warm days. The staff are friendly and welcoming, always willing to help and make recommendations.

One thing to note is that there is no English menu, and the staff may not speak English, but they will do their best to assist you. They have a basic catalog of dishes, which is great, and the pizza options are particularly extensive. In fact, the pizzas here are some of the best around, with a crispy crust and beautifully presented toppings. The servings are also very generous, and one pizza would be more than enough for one person.

If you're not in the mood for pizza, the spinach lasagne is also a standout dish, with great flavor and perfectly cooked pasta. However, the spinach pizza wasn't presented as well, according to the reviewer.

For families with children, there is a designated play area which makes it an ideal spot to bring the kids. And to top off the meal, the dessert is highly recommended - a chocolate lava cake with ice cream which is a real treat. Overall, this restaurant comes highly recommended for its great food, welcoming staff, and family-friendly atmosphere.

Brno is modernizing fast pace but mentality and service is still very much behind. Most of the restaurant staff desperately needs soft skills lessons. Today I ordered grilled cheese and I got salad with goat cheese. When I reported to the staff, one of the employees started arguing with me that I probably ordered salad, which I didn’t. I took the menu and said “ I specifically pointed to the waiter grilled goat cheese “ to which she replied, I quote “ we don’t look what you order”. LOL 😂 Who is supposed to look if not you? Even IF I ordered the salad, it was still missing few ingredients written on the menu. Either way, she was trying to make it like it’s my fault. What she should have done was to apologize and say let’s fix this for you. What an awful way to treat a customer who ordered one thing and now gets scolded because the waiter didn’t listen what I ordered 🤷🏻‍♀️. I came to have a nice Sunday lunch with my daughter but in most Czech restaurants it’s really a lottery if your day will get ruined. Also, food is not even that tasty for the price they charge. I don’t recommend at all. And if anyone from management would even bother to improve things, start with your staff: be polite, smile and grow...

Pred niekoľkými rokmi patrila La Patas za nás k jedným z najlepších reštaurácií v Brne (poznáme ju už od doby, kedy sa nachádzala ešte na predchádzajúcej adrese, kde teraz sídli Vulcano). Usporiadali sme v nej aj niekoľko rodinných osláv a všetci si ju veľmi chválili. No bohužiaľ ako sa to asi často stáva a nás to mrzí boli sme svedkami ich postupného zhoršovania kvality. Začali sme si všímať jednak zhoršujúcu sa kvalitu jedla a jednak aj arogantnejší prístup obsluhy. Postupne sme teda prestávali reštauráciu navštevovať (rovnako ako La Patas, tak aj Vulcano). No po dlhom čase sme sa rozhodli dať jej ešte šancu a dnes sme si vyšli na "skorú" večeru. Ja som mala veľmi veľkú chuť na ich řízek z panenky a smetanové brambory - fakt to bývalo vynikajúce a sliny mi na to tiekli ešte než sme tam vošli (veď to poznáte). No prvé prekvapenie nás čakalo hneď pri usadení sa k stolu - jedálny lístok vo forme QR kódu - tak to prosím v reštaurácii na úrovni, na ktorú sa hrajú je asi zlý sen (pre info, viem používať QR kódy). Jedlo bolo fakt dnes za veľa mínusových bodov. Pri obsadenosti ani nie 1/3 reštaurácie sme na 2 jedlá čakali 40 minút. Môj vysnený řízek pochádzal z friťáku, kde už dlho nikto nemenil olej a bol ním celý nasiaknutý. Smetanové brambory som si objednala ja i manžel a teda neviem čo za smotanu použili, ale rozhodne to smetanové brambory neboli, navyše extrémne slané a studené. Zelenina na tanieri povadlá, bez ochutenia až na tonu soli (a to som kedysi obsluhu žiadala o recept na zálievku, ktorú používajú a dodnes ňou dochucujem šaláty a všetkým to veľmi chutí). Mimo to stoly olepené a pritom obsluha stála za barom a klábosila. Za nás už nikdy viac teda. Mimo iné, už len ich receptúry pizze (pizza v ich cenovej relácii si fakt nezaslúži eidam, kedysi používali mozzarellu - ale biznis je holt biznis) a niektorých ďalších pokrmov...
