Just happened to stumble upon this place on my day trip over from Prague.
Very unassuming venue, but they had an English menu and the elderly lady serving me was sincere and friendly in a Czech way. I did not feel like I was intruding in the slightest.
And then the food came. The daily soup was spot on, didn't need additional seasoning, the main was served nice and hot. Fries were fresh, crispy, and fluffy.
I even came back again for an early dinner and the Schnitzel was amazing, and I was in Germany just 2 days prior. The whole place had a local's pub sort of feel to it and everyone seemed to know one another.
For the price you pay, the food was great and the service was very pleasant. I would recommend stopping by here for a quick bite before heading deeper...

The service however was shocking. We ordered two meals between the three of us since we weren’t too hungry and, upon asking for an additional set of cutlery, she straight up told us no. When I asked why, she said something along the lines of “two orders two cutlery”. I thought she was joking at first but that wasn’t the case unfortunately.
Not only this but everyone in there is super uninviting and it is clear that the staff just want to cater to their mates if not for the money tourists bring.

But here the food was also bad - the goulash was served cold and it was salty enough to kill off COVID. Greasy schnitzel fried in last month’s oil. (Some clients seemed to have appreciated the “homemade” food - unless your grandma used to cook your stew in salt brine, there’s 0 chance this brings back any sweet memories). Cash only.
