Řízkárna U Orla — Restaurant in okres Ostrava-město

First visit and unfortunately a big disappointment from the restaurant that puts the name of the schnitzel in the name. So here I expect top schnitzels in many variants. I was with a group of about 40 people, and the restaurant knew long in advance about this order. What was my surprise when I wanted to order an additional portion of schnitzel. Most of them are listed on the menu in both pork and chicken options, however, after asking about pork, I was told at 2pm on Sunday that there was no pork today. On subsequent enquiry about original veal Wiener Schnitzel likewise. That left only the chicken breast schnitzel option. This was completely below average, very greasy, with no distinct flavour and no crispy crust. The potatoes were a disaster - sweet (probably gone through the frost) and some of them were quite hard, undercooked, butter was missing, even though it was listed on the menu. Considering it's a restaurant specializing in "řízky - cutlets", they should have some of the best cutlets in the town. Not only they aren't the best, they're barely average. Not even sure they fry them in a pan (a deep fryer would be my bet). In Ostrava you can have cutlets in normal pubs that are cheaper, larger and better. Also the inside of the restaurant looks really nice but the outside needs refurbishment badly, the benches are old and uncomfortable and the ground is rough and bumpy like on a construction site. Pod názvem Řízkárna si člověk představí že budou dělat lepší řízky než doma. Že mají zkušenosti, techniku a používají neobvyklé koření. Jelikož jsem neviděl v nabídce řízek z krkovice, vybral jsem si telecí Vídeňák. Bohužel nevím jestli byl vůbec z telecího. Příchuť kořením neměl žádnou a určitě nebyl smažený na voňavém čerstvém sádle nebo másle. První polovina byla tuhá a samá flaksa, že to nešlo uřezat a těžko požvýkat, už jsem to chtěl vyhodit ale druhá půlka byla o něco měkčí. Velké zklamání, když se člověk těší na šťavnatý voňavý řízek. Pokazilo mi to celý večer, kdy jsem nejprve ochutnal Kulajdu, která byla výborná, i když ne dobře ohřátá a stejně dobrý byl předkrm hovězí tatarák. K odpovědi vlastníka: "Líbí se mi", jak se vlastníci snaží zmírnit vliv kritiky, místo aby byli rádi za názor a posunuli kvalitu někam výš. Spíš jsem myslel že se zaměříte na skutečnost že řízek nestál za nic a budete se zajímat jak se to mohlo stát? Co použil kuchař za maso? Už se to někdy stalo? Tak ještě doplním co jsem nechtěl zmiňovat, k vrácení jídla nemohlo dojít, protože obsluha neměla čas se k nám zastavit a zeptat se, talíře byly stále na stole a potřebovali jsme zaplatit. Museli jsme jít požádat o zaplacení na bar protože se nám neměl kdo věnovat. Při účtování mi bylo naúčtováno o 76Kč více, čehož jsem si naštěstí všimnul a reklamoval na baru. Obsluha mi vyplatila rozdíl ve 2Kč a 5Kč, tak si udělejte obrázek jak to tam funguje. Dále již nemíním reagovat.
