AlterNativa Café — Restaurant in okres Ostrava-město

I really liked the atmosphere. Service was quick and our waitress was extremely friendly. The place is English friendly as well.

A few choices for your breakfast at a very reasonable price I thought (maybe pricier for local standards though). The food presentation was very nice, taste okay - nothing jaw dropping. The homemade lemonade was a bit disappointing but thumbs up for prosecco on draft - first time I saw this and I loved it. Coffee was nice and served with a glass of water which is appreciated.

I can recommend and will be coming...

Located in the beautiful neighborhood of Poruba, this cafe made for a great day. My six-year-old daughter and I stopped in for breakfast on a Tuesday morning in July.

We ordered a latte and cherry lemonade. To eat, we got the pancakes and the eggs with toast. Everything tasted good. The pancakes tasted a little off, but still was not bad. The chive butter with the toast was excellent.

Service was really good!

The space is beautiful and they even have books, guides to Ostrava, and...

They only have oat-soya milk and I’m allergic to soya, nuts and dairy, so I can drink only oat milks, so I skipped and went to a different cafe, because I felt like cappuccino… if I felt like batch, I’d definitely try it. My friends stayed and had matcha latte, which in their opinion was quite weak… but I appreciate the interior etc :) hence 4 stars. My colleague went there once for batch brew and he really liked it. If I am in Ostrava again, I’ll try...
