This was one of those places that was supposed to be great but just wasn't. The food was dire, edible but very disappointing. The music and dancing was better, and the free alcohol didn't hurt. This does seem to be a tourist trap - there was a party of French in at the same time. Expect to pay around 60 euros for food, drink and music. Was it worth it? barely 🙁

Met ons busgezelschap zijn we hier komen lunchen met locale muziek, zang en dans. De inrichting was mooi en sfeervol, zowel binnen als buiten. We werden verwelkomd met een glaasje kersenlikeur en originele muziek, waarna we plaats namen aan één van de lange tafels. De bediening was vlot en zeer vriendelijk. Voorgerecht was soep en de hoofdmaaltijd was een originele Tsjechische schotel. Verschillende soorten vlees, brood en groenten lagen op ons bord. Het smaakte voortreffelijk. Als dessert kregen we kleine pannekoekjes met fijne slagroom en fruit. Dit is zeker een aanrader om de echte cultuur van het land te leren kennen buiten het drukke Praag.

We went to this restaurant as part of a Viking Elegant Elbe cruise. We were some of the last people to get a seat and ended up in the far back corner at a table with six people. My wife sat under a shelf that barely cleared her head. The song and dance were good, but we had a poor view of it. The food was good, but the meat was dry. My favorite was the cabbage. We came here for dinner and a show on Friday night. Got to say that it was wonderful, we really enjoyed it!

The show was very authentic (I'm Slavic by birth and I've seen a few of these now) with great music which featured an excellent cimbalom player on top of the dancing and singing.

The food was also fantastic - very tasty and plenty of it.
