Paloma Průhonice — Restaurant in okres Praha-západ

I'm going to begin this review by noting that my father and I got food poisoning from this restaurant, and my mother although not poisoned, also felt unwell after visiting. I was excited to try this restaurant as my parents go here often and said it was incredible. We sat down at our table and got the menu. We saw that there was a daily menu on the board that had an assorted brunch plate, and when we asked our waitress what was on the plate, she didn’t know. She came back after asking her colleagues and told us about half the stuff that was actually on the plate. We all ordered the assorted plate, however i asked to have it without any vegetables. Upon getting our plates, the waitress somehow omitted the fact that i asked for no vegetables, so i asked for them to get rid of it, and they still left like a quarter of the salad on the plate. Then we all cut into our eggs benedict to found all three eggs were hard. We asked another waitress to get us new benedict’s because this was not edible, and she rolled her eyes at us and sighed and walked away. I got a new plate of food, but with like half the portion I was supposed to get, including only a quarter of a piece of bacon (the photo attached is all the bacon they gave me) but my parents only got given new eggs? Today we had an interesting experience in this restaurant. We came to have a nice lunch with my husband, my kid and my mom. Interior and everything looked perfect. The place looks very clean and well maintained. When we started to order food, my daughter asked for pasta, the waiter recommended to leave restaurant and go to the next door Italian restaurant. When we started looking on the menu we noticed pasta, but she said it’s special pasta, and recommended several times to go to the Italian restaurant next door! After I asked for kids menu and surprise- we figured they have kids menu. The overall impression that waiter always did a favor for us. She brought our food and kid’s pasta, but it was done with an huge favor , and we felt we are not welcomed on this place. Not sure why. The food was amazing, very professional presentation on the plates and delicious. But the lack of proper service left us with not good overall impression about the place. Please, teach your personnel not to be judgmental on guests appearance, and train them maintain positive attitude! I live in Dubai therefore I am used to hotels with very high standards, which is difficult to find in Czech Republic. I was invited for my birthday to Paloma Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the luxury and the treatment I received from the professional staff. They were truly outstanding, everything is just absolutely PERFECT. I will definitely visit again and i will definitely suggest this hotel to all my family and friends it was an excellent experience.
