Mount Everest: A culinary expedition in Trebic
Mount Everest is a journey. So, grab your culinary compass and set your sights on Trebic. Mount Everest awaits, and trust me, this is one expedition you don't want to miss.
The discovery: When Nepalese found the Greek key Imagine this: the Greeks leave town, leave the key under the mat, and who finds it? The Nepalese! And they don't just find it; they turn it into Mount Everest, Trebic's own Indian-Nepali culinary adventure. Walking in, you're hit with a vibe that's been through epochs, now standing proud as a testament to fusion and flavor.
Taste test: A flavor journey to the Himalayas Let's talk grub. Chicken butter and kulcha – a duo that'll transport you straight to the heart of Kathmandu without leaving your seat. The chicken butter melts in your mouth, while the kulcha, oh man, stuffed with mashed potatoes and cheese, diving into that herb-infused sauce, is a revelation. And the drink? A yoghurt concoction that's sweet, tangy, and everything in between. It's like they've unlocked the secret to happiness, and it's in their food.
Service with smiles: Authentic vibes The service? Picture this: genuine, hearty, with laughter that's as authentic as the food. They serve up smiles and dishes with equal prowess, making you feel right at home, even if the decor says you've stepped into a scene from a Greek-Nepali sitcom.
The quirky charm: Ionian meets Himalayan What's the deal with the setting? It's Greek architecture meets Nepali zest. Ionian columns standing guard while the air teems with the scents of India and Nepal. It's a cultural mash-up that's as intriguing as it sounds. The only nudge? A splash of investment could dial up the ambiance to match the culinary heights they've already scaled.
The verdict: Go there and see Would I go back? In a heartbeat. It's a solid 4.5/5 on the culinary Richter scale. Have I been cozier? Sure. Have I seen Indian restaurants that look the part more? Absolutely. But Mount Everest in Trebic? It's folklore, it's flavor, it's a story...
Read moreStaff is really nice. I‘m really happy that there is such a place in Trebic and I eat there almost each week. I wish to like it more because I love Indian food, but I cannot give 5 stars. Meals are relatively cheap and portions are generous, but it is not full flavor Indian cuisine. I have read two other reviews by people who have the experience with Indian cousine elsewhere and I agree that it doesn’t taste as good. Chicken could be more tender and sauces could be thicker, richer...
Read moreVery nice vegetarian options! The staff is also very kind. For some reason I didn’t like the dahl makhani but the rest of the food was very yummy! I recommend the daily menu if you are in a rush cause it takes a little bit of time to prepare the meals...
