Let me tell you a story. Imagine if you will, you have driven 300km to Prague to accompany your husband to the airport. Drowsy from your trip, you arrive at your hotel, and ask the receptionist for a restaurant. You don't know Prague. You are peckish and tired and need a meal before you collapse in a heap inside your hotel suite. You decide to trust a local and ask for a suggestion.
He suggests Fabiano.
Expecting a home made if middling kind of meal you go on and walk the km to the restaurant, and sit down. Immediately blasted by how pleasant and nice the service is. We sat outside and within less than two minutes I had menus on our table, with a separate drinks and food menu.
We've gotten menus in English with a single question, we've been offered suggestions and when we ordered a bottle of wine, we've been without a delay offered water. The wine, was without a single doubt absolutely amazing. I will not go on a stretch here if I say that the wine we have ordered and have gotten was quite possibly the best bottle of any wine I've ever had.
We ordered a pasta dish, and admittedly, we didn't get what we ordered, but, I genuinely couldn't care less. We ordered pasta with veal, but we have gotten seafood pasta, and I will say again, as I have said to the server, I couldn't be happier with the meal we've gotten. Quite possibly the best happy accident I've ever had.
Sampling what I thought my husband ordered being adventurous about seafood in a landlocked country, I've been absolutely, wholly and entirely blown away, socks and all, by the absolutely amazing pasta with shrimp. There aren't any words to describe how smoothly and confidently the pasta was presented. Without a doubt in my mind, I would say that the shrimp was the freshest I ever had. The pasta was slick, buttery and without a single flaw. The light spice of the chopped up chillis and the pleasant flavour of the black olives and tomatoes are something to write absolute praise about. The buttery sauce complemented the shrimp wholeheartedly and I couldn't find a single flaw about any of the presentation or taste even if I tried to.
We enjoyed our meal with sheer surprise at how amazing it was. Then, while in the middle of our absolute unadulterated and unashamed enjoyment of the meal, we decided to go for dessert.
I will not exaggerate and neither will my husband in saying that the tiramisu we've gotten was quite possibly the best piece of desert either one of us ever had. The genuine mascarpone, the smoothness of the pastry and just the right amount of chocolate powder atop made for the sweetest end to a perfect meal. I've had Italian food in Italy that didn't feel this good. I've been to fancy restaurants and I've eaten at a whole host of fancy places, but, let me tell you, Fabiano unashamedly and unabashedly punches above its weight class so hard it makes it quite hard to believe.

Read moreWent to this restaurant tonight hoping for a quiet meal after a satisfying walk through the beautiful city of Prague 1. Instead got a delicious meal served by beautiful people and had to share it with 3 generations of feudal misery. My grandmother choked on corn and almost died on this trip that was actually a present for her 80th birthday so it woudn't have been too bad I guess. Our father kept thinking people were trying to rip him off and instead of being a normal customer he constantly wasted the poor waitress' time and probably received a puddle of spit on his fresh pizza vegetariana because of it. Still delicious! My alcoholic sister started crying when the kitchen closed and saw that the cooks actually had to pay for their after-work pint of medium quailty lager. I'm currently in a vulnerable transition period in my life and could really use fatherly support in my new exciting job but that's out of the question, this guy just kept hammering about getting ripped off by CORPORATIONS and that there's no way around it. In the end though I guess it's funny that he's the one getting ripped off by us for an amazing food, beer and music.
TL;DR we didn't actually eat at the restaurant but it smelled great from a distance. Krásný vlasy means beautiful hair and WATCH OUT because Trump might actually do a good job. xx greetz eat...
Read moresrpen 2016 - Restaurace mne nalákala na bezlepkovou pizzu. Pizza hawai tenká a vysušená se spálenými okraji. Manžel si dal pizzu s chili a byl na tom podobně. Chutově normál. K tomu minestrone. Dobrá ale dost řídká. Má to být hustá zeleninová polévka a to rozhodně nebyla. Bílé rozlévané víno chutnalo. Obsluha příjemná a slušně vychovaná. Oproti dřívějšku, kdy byli v restauraci samí arogantní číšníci to byl balzám. Obsluze jsem dala o stavu pizzi zpětnou vazbu, stav odkývala s argumentem, že picař měl hodně objednávek. Restaurace, ale nebyla vubec plna. Vnitřní vybavení restaurace klasický dnešní moderní studený styl. Celkový dojem z objednávky vypadal jako kdyby restaurace šetřila. Návštěvu zopakujeme neboť nás zajímá zda to byla vyjímka nebo standard. A bezlepek jak pizzu nebo těstoviny všude nenajdem.
konec října - objednávka pizzy sebou. Jedna pizza bezlepek Fabiano druhá normál Mexikana. Zklamání z rozdílné velikosti viz. foto. Bezlepek asi o 3 cm v průměru menší a to se za ní platí příplatek 50,- Kč. (bezlepková mouka stojí 1 kg 90,-) . Chutově byly dobré. U té Fabiano bylo kuřecí maso, které mělo být marinované, bez chuti. Celkově i málo slaná. Nevýrazná. Příště vyzkouším jinou. 13.8.17 - objednali jsme si po telefonu 2 pizzy v 19,00 bylo nam receno ze do 20 minut, byly jsme na ceste autem a stacilo nam do pul hodiny. Potvrdily nam tedy, ze je udelaji na 19,30. V 19,30 jsem dorazila do pizzerie (bylo plno). Oznamila jsem, ze si jdu pro objednanou pizzu. Cisnik mi oznamil at se posadim a pockam si. Rikam, ze mam potvrzenou objednavku na 19,30. Cisnik byl naprosto nekompromisni a s nezajmem mi oznamil, ze nevi kdo to objednaval, ale, ze si mam sednout a ze ji museji udelat. Tzn., ze si mam pockat 15 min. A nazdar. Pri plne restauraci a plne zahradce mi bylo jasne, ze tam budu cekat jeste minimalne 30 min, takze jsem rekla, at si je nechaj a odesla. Pritom stacilo rici, ze maji restauraci zcela plnou a ze objednavka bude trvat dele nez 30 minut. Nebo, ze ji na objednavku neupecou, ze si musime objednat na miste a pockat. Prijeli bychom si pro ni dele. Červen 6.7.2019 Rychlá večeře, pizza Capricioza - chutove standard, houbove rizoto - chuťově výborné, jen by mohla být větší porce a dnesni design trend talíř s jak hrom velkym okrajem :-) a v nom důlek s jidlem? No úsměvné. Jinak velice příjemný číšník!!! (vousatý zarostlý), v této restauraci jsme se většinou setkali s takovou tou nadřazenosti já jsem číšník a kdo je vic, tento klučina nás velmi mile překvapil. Na nic di nehrál a byl prostě fajn! Pan provozní už byl standard, slušný nicméně ta důležitost z vykonávané pozice tam byla znát. Oslovilo nás také prostírání na stolech kde byly návody jak položit po dojezení příbory. Chutnala nám moc veka s máslem. Jinak chválím okolí moc...
