If you're seeking an authentic Georgian dining experience in Prague, this restaurant is a must-visit. Nestled in the heart of the city, it offers a genuinely delightful encounter with traditional Georgian cuisine, paired with warm and welcoming service. The atmosphere strikes a fine balance between cozy and elegant, making it an ideal spot for both casual and special occasions.

The menu shines with a selection of well-executed dishes, with the shashlik being a standout highlight. We tried the chicken, turkey, and lamb skewers, each of which was cooked to perfection, offering succulent flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. The quality of the food speaks volumes about the care and authenticity put into each dish.

Beverage options are equally interesting, featuring traditional Georgian drinks that complement the meals beautifully. The restaurant's attentive and friendly staff ensures a pleasant dining experience throughout your visit.

Parking is problematic, but available right in front of the restaurant when it's not too busy.t. I left the restaurant immensely satisfied, a feeling I hadn't experienced in a long time after dining out.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in a memorable culinary journey through Georgian flavors. Truly, this restaurant is a culinary...

As my SO put it, the most bizarre place to go out for a dinner she's been too in a long time, yet great experience for a foodie. Authentic Georgian cuisine - and I mean here the former Soviet republic, now partially occupied by Russia, not a US state. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, georgian šašlik's roasted in an outside yard is the first thing you'll see, tables, chairs and benches are placed inside a garden of what once was a suburban villa and when you're about to pay a lady resembling your mum will cordially ask you if you enjoyed your dish. Really enjoyed our chinkali with ajika, the mildly hot sauce. Will...

I had an unforgettable dining experience at U Gruzina in Prague! The restaurant offers a delightful array of traditional Georgian cuisine, including mouthwatering khachapuri, flavorful khinkali, and a variety of delicious salads. Though located far from downtown, the trip was entirely worth it for the authentic and rich flavors they served. Just be aware that only cash payments are accepted, and they do have limited parking nearby. The staff was generally polite, and the ambiance was charming, making it a truly enjoyable dining destination for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Georgian cuisine in Prague. Highly...

The place is okay if you want to experience the atmosphere of 1990s bistro by the road somewhere in Georgia. It consists of several tents with non-matching furniture, and you could easily imagine it as a setting for some criminal drama taking place in that time. But the public there is definitely modern - Czechs and expats eager to taste Georgian cuisine. Hosts are welcoming and friendly, the service is good. As for the food, it's something you can expect from family cooking. Hearty, tasty, but not the restaurant quality. You'd expect more spices and herbs in Georgian dishes.
