On arrival at 9.30PM - we were told to wait. Then ignored for half an hour before being dealt with... when I showed my booking dot com reservation for a double room he accused of us only booking a single room even though we showed him our reservation. He called his manager and told us to booking.com at 10.30PM at night. An HOUR after having arrived. His manager was laughing on the phone and they were both taking the situation like a joke. “There’s nothing I can do about it. Sorry, what??? You work at this hotel and you can’t look into it? Then he said “you’re saying I’m stupid?? Ok then”... when we never said anything except about why he couldn’t pull up our booking correctly.||||Long story short. After finally asking for my reservation number (which should have been the first thing he should do), he pulled up the reservation and said he had looked at “CIU” not “SHYU” and had grabbed the wrong paper - instead of owning up to it, he couldn’t understand what I had said. Muttered in Czech the whole time. He said the two last names sound the same and then made a racist comment. Bear in mind, the first we did was fill out our names and show him our booking. In between trying to check in, he served four other people before us... after finally getting my booking correct (which took just under an hour) he took another 15 minutes to get us checked in. ||||I ave never met a ruder person in my life and I was honestly on the brink of filing a complaint to the police at how aggressive he was. Even threatening to ask if we’d like to wait another hour... This type of behaviour is so appalling. I’m still in shock and can honestly say I would never ever stay here again & would tell people to stay as far away as possible. ||||The only saving grace was the room was spacious and clean but I will avoid this place at all costs and stay elsewhere near the airport next...
Read moreI have to admit that this hotel is probably the best thing we had in Prague (because Prague itself is very poor compared to other European cities we visited - crowded, people are not very polite and you have to pay for absolutely everything - often much more than it's worth). Back to the hotel - Very competitive price compared to accommodation in the city center (the hotel is probably 12 km away on the outskirts). The room is great! Large, spacious and clean. We slept well. Thick curtains. Very large bathroom. Breakfast included - really decent for the price and good coffee. Minus for the service - the gentleman at the reception was very dry several times - definitely not the right attitude for this position. But a plus for the ladies from the service in the restaurant and greetings. Overall...
Read moreWarning: Have stayed in that hotel from May 27 to 30, 2019. They have NO WATER in bathrooms. At check-in I was told that water will be restored within 2 hours. After 3 days still no water, as water pipeline is broken somewhere in the street and leakage point is not yet identified. I was not allowed to re-book free of costs, everday got wrong information on re-installation of water. Receptionists gave us bottled water and water in open buckets for washing and toilet.
Probably they are not guilty for water breakdown, but their information policy is not honest. The hotel should be closed down till water supply is re-established and works properly and safely.
No reductions of room rate were given at check out.
I recommend no to book that...
