I found Dados by chance on the road to Margao, just a five minute walk from Maria Hall. It looked like any other typical roadside Goan restaurant/cafe from the outside……but once I tasted their fish thali I realised it was anything but your typical roadside eatery. The flavours were exceptional and quite something else. I was instantly impressed and became restless to know and understand how they made such delicious and flavoursome food, so I went back many times to sample more of their menu The prawns served with a crab garnish was totally exquisite. The place is run by a friendly bunch of young unpretentious Goans…..Kimberly, Scott and John….who take food preparation and all of its textures and flavours very seriously. This small place can quickly fill up so arrive early to avoid disappointment

We were looking for a local spot to try a Goan thali and stumbled upon Dados. We ordered the prawns thali and kingfish thali, paired with refreshing kokum soda—and it was an absolute treat! The thali came with a delicious spread: a flavorful curry to pour over the rice, mussels, dried prawn stir-fry, brinjal stir-fry, pickle, papad, and a fresh salad. Every bite was packed with authentic Goan flavors, and we polished off our plates completely. At ₹300 per thali, the meal was quite reasonable. The owner was friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm, local charm of the place. Note: There’s no dedicated parking, so you’ll need to park on the road. Highly recommend Dados for an authentic and satisfying Goan thali experience!

Very tasty homely food served by a lovely couple. While staying around Benaulim I daily visit here for lunch. The food is very healthy with less oil without compromising on taste.... The King Fish and Prawn thali mostly I prefer. The Crab masala they serve as condiment is awesome too... My wife loves the taste of vegetarian thali here. I believe this place is a hidden Gem. If someone tries food here they will definitely be back again....

Came here just by looking the ratings and one of my friends mentioned to try once. Food is quite affordable compere to other restaurants. Taste is a bit above average. I'll say it justifies price range. Don't expect extraordinary taste etc. You have to sit hot surrounding if you're coming in afternoon time. Other than that, owner is humble and helpful.

The best Lepo thali I have tasted in South Goa. The Fish was very fresh, the thali had everything including two slices of mango to give you that tangi feel. Kokum soda was excellent with a dash of lime. Reasonably priced. Pure authentic Goan home food. Loved it. Will definitely recommend. I'll be back for more, for sure

Hands down the best place that servers authentic Goan food in South Goa. You might have to wait a little for the as it is freshly made and served. Great ambiance and lovely people. It’s a young couple running the place since a decade, If your in south Goa go visit them and enjoy the richness of Food.
