La Pâtisserie Nouvelle — Restaurant in Ngaliema

It's still one of my favorite places to go to in Kinshasa. But the last time we were there, they put in an additional item in the bill, hoping that I will not notice it. They do that sometimes in Congolese restaurants. So before paying, be careful and make sure you are not paying dor something you didn't order. Also, we ordered a breakfast plate and it comes with juice and tea/or coffee. They didn't bring us the juice and I had to remind the waitress, who wanted to charge us extra for that. Lovely place to have brunch. Though located at a main road. It is quite pleasant inside. The cafe offers a variety of pastries and ice cream. I‘d recommend to sit outside in the garden and enjoy local juices. The baguette we had was a bit disappointing, too dry like yesterdays bread but the brunch plate with toast, pancakes, eggs, sausage and potatoes was worth the money. We spent around 42$...

Nice restaurant to enjoy brunch or lunch with indoor and outdoor seating. In the outdoor area, there is a small play area for children as well as fans for the heat.
