ZYARA RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Aarhus Municipality

I was recommended to try this place but it wasn’t as I expected it to be. Our food took 50-55 min to be served (bare in mind we only ordered eggs with sujuk, 2 manakish and hummus with meat + plate of vegetables. The taste of manakish (zaatar/cheese and chili/tomato) were really dry and made on a very thin bread. Not fluffy like the real manakish. The eggs were alright but the vegetables plate we payed extra for included a tomato, pickles and black olives (small plate). The hummus were ok but too much oil poured on the plate. The price is pretty high for an arabic brunch, way expensive in my experience our bill for these plus 2 tea was 285 kr. Won’t be visiting the...

Rare find outside Århus. The location is easy to find but located right off Edwin rahrs vej on the west side of Århus. Rather small place but probably seats around 50-60 ppl. Cozy and convenient groups with table and couches of 4 people. The food is delicious and the total value for what you pay is very high.

The skewers and skewer mix with rice is awesome. You also get a premeal with bread and hummus before the meal, that's so good.

Overall good experience at Zyara. There is a wide selection to choose from, so everyone can find something. The drinks are a bit ordinary and nothing special.

We have been here two times and both times we got the beyti kebab and the lamb kebab, which comes with salad and rice. Plus bread and dips as an appetizer. So you get a lot of food which is nice!
