Kai Sushi — Restaurant in Brøndby Municipality

This was our second time going to Kai Sushi and we have in generel been very surprised about how good the food has been esp. for being a restaurant in Brøndby Øster.

However, today we left the place not feeling like going back again unfortunately. We felt the service was really bad. After we had ordered our food we were asked if we wanted something to drink and we specifically asked for tapwater “postevand”. As we were about to leave the waiter insisted that we had not payed for water, which we assumed was for free as it comes from the tap. We did not want to make a scene and paid 2x20kr (40kr) for tapwater which we didn’t even drink at the end.

5 stars to a restaurant in Brøndby? Is the food that good? Actually yes - and especially for the price. Look at their menus and special offers. Really worth the money. The restaurant looks nice inside and authentic for a simple diner/restaurant. Outdoor is nice, but nothing special. Staff is nice and smiling, so all in all, nice - the danish could be better. The best sushi I’ve ever eaten! You can go to the restaurant, which is beautiful, with a very pleasant music, and enjoy the food there with a lovely service, or you can order to take away, and enjoy it somewhere else. The quality is always amazing. They provide a perfect balance of flavours and textures in each piece. It’s really heavenly.
