Came from UK. Absolutely amazing experience at Café Istanbul! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home. The service was spot on friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was full of flavour, fresh, and beautifully presented. The Turkish breakfast was a feast for the eyes and taste buds perfectly cooked eggs, fresh bread, rich cheeses, olives, and so many delicious little extras. The kibbeh was cooked to perfection with a crispy outside and a flavour packed filling. Everything tasted authentic and made with real passion. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service are consistently excellent, but Café Istanbul delivers on every level. Whether you’re here for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee, you’re in for a treat. Definitely one of my new favourite spots, and I’ll be coming back again and again. Highly recommend!

It's a pretty little cafe, but it doesn't make up for the food or service. It looks good and all, but for the price you don't really get your moneys worth. I would understand if everything was organic or had some aspect that made the price high for such a small amount. Some eggs, 3 sausages, and 3 pieces of sucuk and cut-up fruit. 1 teaspoon of hummus and other "dips" Nothing you couldn't get at a normal store and make for less money. Service was also a bit slow and disorientated, forgetting cutlery and napkins - the basic elements of normal service. 22 dollars (150 dkk), and tea (4,5 dollars - 30kr) on the side for a small cup. It is a simple commodity that's free at most Mediterranean cafés. So, all in all, 26 dollars (170dkk) - for something less than ordinary and a pathetic excuse for turkish breakfast

Not a great experience overall. Their brunch is too pricey for the quantity and the quality you get. 130kr. for scrambled eggs with sucük., dry börek, a bit of cheese, some fruits & different dips doesn't seem justified to me. The most astonishing part was their 45kr (~7€) "frisk presset" orange juice. Which had a totally off color and tasted waterish. Definitely a complete scam. When we told the waitress about it, we got told that it might be because of the type of orange they use..

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this place, a cozy Turkish restaurant that exceeded all my expectations with its delicious food and exceptional service.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, who were attentive and friendly throughout my visit. His friendly and professional manner made the experience even more pleasant.

The hummus that I had with minced meat was really delicious with its creamy texture and balanced flavor, accompanied by a touch of lemon. The mini Lahmacun was another wonderful surprise. This "Turkish pizza" had a thin base, topped with a mixture of minced meat and spices that burst with every bite. The combination of flavors was exquisite and the perfect balance between meat and spices made each piece delicious. Service: In addition to the excellent food, the treatment with the staff was exceptional. The staff were always happy to explain about their Turkish dishes. In short, not only stands out for its incredible Turkish cuisine, but also for the warmth and professionalism of its staff. I highly recommend this place to any Turkish food lover or those looking for a unique and memorable experience. I will definitely return to enjoy more of their delicious dishes and excellent...

One of my worst experiences was with Brunch . None of the necessary measures were taken to prevent the transmission of the virus and hygiene. For example, the table was less than a meter long - the waiter did not have gloves, masks or aprons. - With the same hand that cleaned the tables and collected the dishes of the previous customers, he served us food - the bread basket and paper napkins left the table of the previous customer for us - the service of the fork and the knife packed from the table of the previous customer to the customer's diker Regardless of the fact that those people may be carriers of the disease and be the cause of the transmission - the waiter is a man without a apron and gloves and a mask with a red striped shirt, who was responsible for cleaning the tables and serving food and collecting tables - quality The food is inappropriate - I liked the presentation of the brunch - if we want to give a score of one to ten to the food and service, the food will have a score of three and the service will have a score of zero, and hygiene will have a score of one. Unfortunately, the service was very bad. I will not...

I have to say a couple of thing about this place.

  1. Istanbul is not known for neither its breakfast or brunch. The name and Konsept simply doesn’t work.
  2. the so called Turkish breakfast was nothing more than all the other mediocre brunch plates you get around the city for the same price or less
  3. the quality of the food is very bad. Bland, cheap, industrial and just very very tacky.
  4. their service: omg! It’s like they hate to have you around. The owner talks constantly and mostly about his own accomplishments and successes.
  5. it seems like they also hate your kids, so if you still are planing to go there, leave your kids at your moms place, because if they get up and run around, I guarantee you that you’ll get a reprimand from the staff.
  6. it’s expensive. Just waaay too expensive for the service and quality. Copenhagen has a bunch of different alternatives to offer, including ‘almost’ the classical Turkish breakfast to less money. Try them out!

It’s been long since I’ve been this...
