Isbunkeren — Restaurant in Frederikshavn Municipality

Isbunkeren is one of the most unique restaurants I have ever visited. The location right at the edge of the north sea and the views are breathtaking!! It has a rustic no nonsense feel and the food is worthy of a michelin star. Bent the owner is one of the friendliest and most accommodating hosts you could come across. If you are lucky to go this summer ask the waitress Anja to sing a song and you will be blown away !!! If you are within 100 miles of this place do not miss out !!! We only had the loveliest and friendliest experience with the no-nonsense owner Bent! We found him to be the friendliest man who welcomed us in with open arms and regaled wonderful stories. We really enjoyed his company over several beers, plus an ice cream and a couple of treats for the kitchen! Beautiful view… and the best picture book on...

Vi kom forbi Isbunkeren i dag; vi var sultne og bestilte pizza. Isbunkeren havde første åbningsdag i dag, med ny ejer, og havde købt en helt ny pizzaovn. De havde lavet en egen opskrift på pizza med sprød bund, rigeligt med ingredienser, grøntsagerne var groft skåret, og der var Karl Johan-svampe i hjemmelavet marinade også. Pizzaerne var store; de koster en smule mere end ved de fleste standardpizzeriaer, men de smager simpelthen fantastisk! Der er en himmerigsmundfuld fra første til sidste bid! Så det kan helt klart betale sig at køre langt for at få en af disse gourmetpizzaer!
