The Brasserie is the hearth of Ruths Hotel, which has been brought back to it's former glory by the late Philip Sørensen. The place is tasteful and lavish yet respectful of it's heritage. Originated and still overseen by Michel Michaud, the food is far from ostentatious but rich in flavor. You will find the usual dishes of a French bistro, the wine list has something for everybody and the staff are well versed. At lunchtime in the summer, this is the place to be in Skagen.

Beside the kind service of the servers, we had a very tasty lunch. Fresh food, not expensive considering the quality of food and service. It's quiet and cleaned, the only thing that was, for me, a bit too expensive, was the dessert. I took a crème brulé which was a bit smaller considering the price, However, delicious. Thank you for your service, If we ever come back to Skagen,we will eat there again for sure. <3

Wife and I had the Moules-Frites, and I have to say this is the single best Moules-Frites I have ever had. The locally-sourced mussels were best described as delicate, with excellent preparation in a lemon wine sauce savored with fresh sliced garlic and onions and garnished with semi-dried tomatoes. The frites were prepared perfectly. Excellent experience, fantastic food and lovely venue.
