Trattoria Nuova Italia — Restaurant in Rødovre Municipality

We went two young friends for a dinner here yesterday and were so disappointed. The food was bland, the pasta dish was made with pre-cooked chicken from dagrofa, if you are going to cook true Italian food where each ingredient speaks for itself and no spices are needed, then you've gotta use real fresh ingredients! I have worked many years in hospitality, I can spot the chicken when I see it. We had high hopes due to the reviews but were quite disappointed, there was one nice waiter, but we only briefly were served by him. I was served a soda with sugar when I ordered without, the waiter even said when he gave it to me that it was the one with sugar and I double-checked with him and he's like "oh no its the one without", but it wasn't and when I later confronted him he was very arrogant about it and was like no it is without sugar and actually took it away from me without asking if I was done. After that, he practically threw our bill on the table, once we had paid he didn't even look at us, say bye or thank you. so incredibly rude, because we could easily see how the waiters were being SOOOO nice to all the elderly couples around us.. It sucked, i really was looking forward to the tiramisu, but we decided on no dessert due to the poor taste of the main meal. I am always very polite but this was simply too back an experience to not review. So sad, after having lived in Italy, I was really hoping this place in my neighbourhood would be good, but cannot...

This is one of the places I'm sure we'll be coming back to again and again. The food was excellent and the prices reasonable and the service, which is often not so in Italian restaurants, was personal, efficient and friendly. All together a great...

Lækker mad, og god vin. Til tider dog lidt vanskeligt at forstå tjenerne, hvilke kan gøre at man mister lidt informationer undervejs. Fx havde de en menu som ikke stod på menukortet, hvor vi ikke forstod hvad forretten var. Trods det bestilte vi den alligevel. Ellers var servicen god, og man følte sig meget velkommen. Den vin vi havde bestilt, blev dekanteret og tjeneren tog sig tiden imens til at give en meget kort beskrivelse/forklaring på hvorfor han gjorder det med den vin. Maden vi havde bestilt var godt tilberedt. De spurgte hvordan vores bøf skulle steges som havde en god stege overflade og de "ramte" både rare og medium rare.
