Place is nice. We have been there for lunch. Service is bad, slow and distracted. Restaurant with just 3 tables occupied and we had to wait to be placed and to be served 30 min. Two waiters not good for a restaurant. Food not particularly interesting, Italian food poorly cooked and prepared. Way too expensive for the quality. Main issue the service and the food. Strongly not recommended. Suggestions: more attention to the service. Eg. Do not assume the size for the drinks, ask for water glasses, you bring bottle of water without glasses. there were two kids, you have papers and colors for them, good idea is to ask if guests would like them for the kids. pass to ask if all is good or if anything is needed, this is also good for business. remove the dishes once food is consumed, it could be a good occasion to ask for extra food or for a dessert or a coffee, it is an Italian trattoria. Read moreAfter hearing about the poor quality of the food, service and prizing - this is a place I have avoided for almost five years. They have now changed the whole concept - including their menu - and I therefore decided to give it a shot. I was in no way disappointed.
The food was cooked to perfection, blending ingredients that was available about 1000 years ago in this region, with modern gastronomy.
Prizes weren't too steep with a main-course at about 20 Euro.
Normally I never have dessert, but their elderflower pie just sounded too good not to try... And it was! Even if you haven't got a sweet-tooth - the place is worth a visit just to try that dessert!
Also - the fact that the waiters presented the dishes when they had served them added a lot to the whole experience.
If they can keep this up during busy tourist-season, they will definitely place a new culinary star over...

They claim they are an Italian restaurant, the only thing Italian on the menu are some starters and pizza’s, which you can get of a better quality at any take-away pizza place in Denmark. The very young waiters yesterday had no idea about what they were doing. We waited 15 min for our aperitivos, where the Aparol Spritz had no Aparol in it. We waited more than an hour for the main course … in a restaurant that was only 20% filled up. The main course was equally a disaster, the meat we ordered was grilled but just tasted of char.
