Ploy Cafe & Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Thisted Municipality

If you by chance happens to stroll by, there is a small chance that you might even overlook this discreet little restaurant, that seemingly doesn't make much fuzz of itself, but what it lacks in splendor and bling on the outside, it certainly makes up for on the inside. When we were welcomed inside by the staff, they didn't initially strike me as the "waiter type", but i must admit that it's been a long time since i've felt so welcome in a restaurant. They are really polite and nice, all of them, and at one point while waiting for the dishes, the kitchen even came out, just to make sure if the dishes we ordered should in any way be spicy, or, as i was asked: "taste like Thailand", which i concluded half way through my dish, is spicy+, but in the good way where you can actually taste the food.

The ingredients are good, fresh, and on top of it all, it's actually not that expensive (please see pictures of the menu)

The first floor hosts another 10-15 tables, and even a little bar.

We would definitely come back next we're in Thisted, and the conclusion here is, as so often before:

We arrived to this almost empty restaurant for dinner. An middleaged unpleasant waitress gave us a table at the entrancedoor, when almost all other tables were unoccupied by saying they were reserved. When we asked for another table she looked irritated at us and with hesitation gave us another table, far from were we wished to sit. On the other hand, the young male waiter who served us the food was really nice and polite. Also the food was great. Finally, when we left only a few other guests had arrived so most of the tables...

One of those places where you can truly feel passion in everything they do — from the kitchen to the service. Delicious food, wonderful people, and great atmosphere. I’ll be back for sure next time...
