The city Azua is one of the bigger of the Dominican Republic with about 90000 residents. They have a lot of local business there, and it's more famous for the endless day-and-night travel from Haiti to Santo Domingo. Azua is one of the transit towns with all the necessary things you need on your trip: bus station, bancos, ATMs, La Sirena and some fast food restaurants for getting the food you need. There are not soo many good restaurants, but the El Meson Suizo is the best one before Santo Domingo. They offer you a good menue of local fish, very delicious soups and cool beer! Their service is really great and they comply you with any wishes to make your meal perfect. The location is a little bit far and not easy to find in the dark after 7 p.m., but it's just two crossways far from the main street, so it's easy to get and with a little bit of help of your Google-map you find the fastest way out of the city too, only you need be a little bit carefully with all the dark colored locals walking in the night on the street without high-vis vest or riding the light-off passolas, so you always get a feeling like a wrong-way driver, which truly you are in this country, indeed!
