We found this place almost on a whim. So glad we did.
Arrived right after opening, We were seated immediately and given menus. Drink orders taken.
A few things I noticed right then: the table was clean, the restaurant was clean, and the BBQ was already going. Also the servers were attentive and ready to help (which, unfortunately, is quite rare in this country).
Got our drinks and was ready to order. 1.5 lbs of ribs (shared between two). Papa Pulled (Loaded fries) And the Fat* Burger (I don't like the name of it, but the server said it was the best burger they have)
Food came out at a great time. We didn't wait too long (which is also rare in this country... See my post about Muu)
Ribs - 7 out of 10: they had no sauce, which we thought they needed; and they weren't piping hot; just warm, which was weird. But tender (not fall off the bone) but tender, and very tasty! Came with a side of bread.
Papa Pulled - 7 / 10: it wasn't hot. Hot gives a feel of freshly made. It tasted fresh in the sense that it didn't taste or look like it had been sitting for a while, but it wasn't hot. Taste was good... The rib meat was delicious. I ordered this as my main dish because the picture I saw of it online was much larger, but as you can see in my pic, it is not! And it wasn't enough.... (And I think it's too small as an appetizer too)
Burger - 8 / 10: it was a good tasting burger. Nice amount of rib meat, along with a nice thick burger. We felt like the burger could have used a little bit of salt or seasoning. Missed some type of sauce to bring it together. Fries were seasoned well.
Overall, everything just seemed small. Or smaller than other pics I've seen, and smaller than what we expected. But very good, well made and so tasty.
Chinola and Limon juices are fantastic!!! Nice selection of beers.
Great space... The ambiance was nice. It's in a covered area, which was great.
Service was spectacular!!

Read moreEdito 2 y quito 1 estrella: Finalmente fuí.
