Hey there! π
If you're ever in Ecuador, you have got to try this place. It's got some of the best food quality I've ever had. π½οΈ They start you off with a range of bread choices served with butter, a deliciously herbed cream sauce, and simpler yet equally appetizing options. π₯π§
Their sausages are served with different German sauces that are a perfect match to the taste.π Delightful!
For drinks, the choices are purely organic. πΉ The Guanabana juice and mandarin juice are particularly noteworthy. π
They were even kind enough to give us some quail's legs as a courtesy which exceeded all expectations. π¦π΄
The New York steak here is unlike any I've had. Even back in New York, the quality of the steak we had couldn't be matched. It was cooked to absolute perfection.π₯©π―
The "Eisbein con Sauerkraut" was filled to the brim with bursting flavors!
And to round it all off, try their Cedron ice cream, it's a refreshing touch to end a rich meal. π¨
We've eaten in so many places around the world, including Germany, but this has got to be among the very top of the list.βοΈππ©πͺ
Finally, their service truly stands out. It's hard to find great customer service in Ecuador and this place nails it.π
10/10 would recommend! πππππ
And that's about it, beautiful food journey summarized in one text. Can't wait to go back....
Β Β Β Read moreI have dined at this restaurant many times, and every time I go to Ecuador I do everything possible to be in Quito on Friday nights so I can go to Mucki's. The never-the-same, farm to market cuisine, the superb wine list, the unrivaled service, and the ambiance make this establishment in my opinion one of the top five restaurants on my list anywhere in the world. And I have traveled 62% of the world according to Travel Advisor Places Iv'e Been. You have to work hard or know someone who knows where it is to get there, but is it ever...
Β Β Β Read moreMuckiβs ambiance is great! This hidden gem is set in an old house surrounded by nature. There is outside and inside seating. The food is fresh and hearty and you can see all the care they put into each dish. Prices are a bit steep but this is a must visit for a family or romantic celebration. Most dishes come with a variety of pickled sides and a few types of mustard and small salads. I recommend sharing several dishes so you can try a bit of everything. The portions are large and the service...
