The service was fine, and the food had mixed reviews. It was good for a group dinner and sharing some dishes. The food appearance was good and appealing. They seem to cater to people with birthdays and for special events like anniversaries. The fried appetizer sampler (Piqueo Tipico) with humitas was good and liked by all. The ceviche sampler (Festival de Ceviche) had some good items (fish and shrimp), but the concha (clam) ceviche was fishy. The octopus ceviche was fair. The mangrove sampler with crab (trilogia del manglar) and the crispy rice was OK. The fried crab claws came out cold and were OK but did not seem freshly prepared. The lump crab with wine served in the crab shell was excellent, and we wished for more of this. The crispy rice was fair, a bit smokey and crispy/crunchy with some crab and sauce, but the people who had this would have preferred regular rice. The rice pudding dessert was OK. Their other desserts looked good. They have a semi-private room with a big table good for groups of around 10...

First, its menu is very rich, from seafood to meat, it has a huge variety of Ecuadorian and Guayaquilean dishes. You must order Locro de Cangrejo, which is a Crab Soup, simply delicious. My friend took me to this place. I come time to time to Ecuador. I usually stick with street food no because the price but for the taste of the food. I try many restaurants but this one is just amazing. It cost just a little bit more. Still affordable and the portions are bigger and the food is just delicious. The service is really good too.
