Absolutely great experience!

The service is excellent, the waiter who was very friendly guided me through a custom order that was not on the menu, he kept thinking with me about what I wanted and said he'll let me know how much it cost, which he did and it was only 190 EGP for the whole meal.

The order was placed quickly and the price was extremely modest compared to most Egyptian restaurants; a mix-grill meal of shish tawook and kofta with rice, fries, salad, bread and a huge bowl of Tehena all this for only 190 EGP !! The water bottle is only 10 EGP and Turkish coffee is 35 EGP, and also no VAT or Service added.

The meal was also delicious and fresh. They have a clean bathroom and comfy couch seats, TV available and outdoor...

Amazing food and great service for an incredibly good value. I really enjoyed the starters we had mashi, it was really tasty, i felt like i was having authentic Egyptian food. The complimentary salad made a good balance to the main. Just ask if you can't handle spice as some items were quite spicy.

The prices aren't clear on the english menu but you can ask and I wouldn't worry because its amazing value and friendly service for your money.

We got 3 water bottles, one black tea, 1 mixed grill and 2 starters and they charged us 191 EGP so we tipped extra.

It is in an off the main street location but you can get a Taxi/ Uber there or walk from the main road.

Wonderful atmosphere, a cosy place and its location is quiet, the walls are decorated with beautiful life scenes from old Cairo, but the food was not good. I've been living in Egypt for 13 years and that was the first time I got mahshi which was really awful and tasted like... lemon?
