Broccar Restaurant — Restaurant in Cairo

Best fried chicken in Cairo. Coleslaw and potatoes are also delicious. I gave service and atmosphere 4 stars because almost none of them understand basic English so it is difficult to order simple items and the area around the restaurant is full of beggars who harass you in your car and when going in/out of the restaurant. If it was my business I wouldnt allow them to be on the steps and bother customers. UPDATE: Dining in is NOT RECOMMENDED.

I visited both locations in Banefseg and Madinaty and both experiences were the same, horrible! They don’t greet you when you enter instead you have to ask around for a table. There are many workers standing around but you have to get their attention to take your order. No one checks on you after you get your food and then you have to spend 15 minutes looking for someone again to get the check. It was the same bad experience in Banefseg but I came to Madinaty location thinking it would be better but it was embarrassing because I took my friend there for her first time and they gave us poor service. To make it worse they take a tip automatically so this is why they don’t care if you get good service or not because they get 12% no matter what. Paid 105le service fee to be ignored the whole time. This restaurant is for takeaway only. The food is good the service is bad. I learned my lesson...

I went yesterday for iftar. The food is delicious as usual, but the people preparing shawerma are very rude and are not fit to work in such a place. They dont know how to treat customers. Long story short the man speaking to me was using bad language while speaking to me, i kid you not, and he kept using that he was fasting as an excuse as if we were not fasting too... My friend and i went to ask for the manager, and the people in the shop pointed out to someone who was not the manager because for their bad luck i met the manager of the place before amd he was older than them and looked completely different from the person we met. He spoke to us in a polite way but he didnt do anything to the unpolite and rude people outside, and he said that he cannot speak to them infront of us which is ofcourse an excuse. I really dont reccomend this place to anyone who doesnt like to deal with impolite people. Bad experience and i wont go there ever again. Good quality food does not make up...

This used to be my favorite restaurant. I have ordered from brocar almost every single day for the past three years, probably over 200 orders. I was a loyal customer since they opened their first branch, but I have watched the quality drop year after year.

Now it is not just the food that has gone downhill. Delivery has become unreliable, taking 1.5 to 2 hours at times, which is unacceptable. And the app is one of the worst I have ever used, especially compared to other restaurants in Egypt. If it is this bad, do not keep shoving “download our app” in customers’ faces.

To brocar’s management, fix the quality, deliver on time, and build a proper app before promoting it. Sadly, this will be my last order. You have lost a long-time loyal customer because of declining quality...
