Lucky House — Restaurant in Cairo

Went there for Iftar with a friend and my experience was very nice. They used to offer cheaper prices for the dumplings before and the quantity was more than what we got. Aside from that? Everything else was great. The chicken arguably is my favourite sweet and sour ever! You pay more than you usually do but the quantity and quality is suitable. 10/10 chicken. The staff were so wholesome by bringing us free drinks on Iftar because they realized we were fasting and that was very sweet of them. I wish they up their dumplings game because I used to even order to home some with me. Highly recommend nonetheless.

Edit: They changed to fifth settlement location now. I used to go there cause it was quality and quantity for price. Aside from the fact that the quantity gone smaller and the prices got higher, the quality is still the same. It's lowkey ridiculous and outrageous the prices have become and with the price we paid we can get a sushi lunch which is insane? This was probably the most authentic Chinese food I've ever seen outside of China, and so it was delicious! Having lived in China for several years, I was amazed at how it all tasted just as I expected it should. The menus is all in Chinese as some others have commented, but there are also pictures for everything so even if you can't read it you should be able to pick out pretty well what you want. The menu is also quite diverse with hotpot, shao chuan (bbq skewers), and many other great Chinese dishes. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were very large. Absolutely the Worst Dining Experience Ever

This was hands down the worst dish I’ve ever had. The taste was disgusting, and the meat smelled rotten. I couldn’t even finish it — I had to return it. But instead of caring whether I was satisfied or if the food was even edible, all they cared about was making sure I still paid for it.

No apology, no responsibility — just a cold, “you still have to pay.” The prices are insanely high for what they serve. Honestly, the food isn’t even worth half of what they charge. You’re better off taking your money to a proper fancy restaurant than wasting it on this overpriced garbage.
