La Única Pupusería — Restaurant in Antiguo Cuscatlán

First time coming here, it was recommended by our driver and I was not disappointed. The place was clean, they greeted us right away, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The pupusas were very good compared to other places, including Olocuiltas (I was so disappointed, btw). I knew the pupusas were gonna be good the moment I tried the platano con frijoles. The beans were cooked to perfection and had lots of flavors. We didn't have to wait long for our pupusas to be ready. The only thing I don't like about restaurants including this one, is that they give a paper with the menu and you have to figure out what to get, it's hard when you have a large group. The order is served in boxes, and you have to figure out what they wrote on the box to then serve each person. In a way, it is good. Food is not being over handled by them. For this location specifically, parking is very limited, so good luck finding one if the place is packed and depending on your location, it can take about 30 mins to get to this location. This place is overhyped. The pupusas are smaller, with less and uneven filling compared to other spots in the same price range. Very crowded. But we were able to get a seat. Cash only. Only pupusas made from corn not rice. Service is quick. No parking We went twice. The first time was on a weekend. Late in the evening.
